Job Description
Direct a team to generate and manage new IT demands proactively through close relationship with the business. Strategic design and implementation of effective and efficient IT transformation programs, focused on optimizing the Global Sourcing business. Ensure best practice solutions are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, budget, quality and compliance with GIT strategies.



Key Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to the IT Solutions team within GIT CC Sourcing.
• IT Demand generation and management.
• To manage program and project execution and ensuring appropriate IT support is provided according to the GIT standards, policies and methodologies.
• Implement and standardize processes based on the region/country’s requirement
• Initiate improvements on business processes and applications
• Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance
• Coordinate and supervise of design realization and implementation of new software applications (analyzing, evaluation of needs, designing of screens and reports, testing, implementation, documentation and training for the users)
• Ensure the Global Sourcing application architecture is optimized .
• To maintain sound relationship with the internal business customers and competence center in headquarter
• To ensure and maintain functional competence in the IT subject areas related to the relevant business processes
• SPOC for critical GIT/solution vendors to ensure a high standard of customer service and satisfaction
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with business partners and business customers.

Knowledge Skills And Abilities

• Strong background in IT application development, supply chain management and sourcing, with knowledge of the latest IT trends
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Possess team attitude with highly developed, customer-focused service delivery skills and good cultural awareness
• Possess good balance of technical, business acumen and interpersonal skills
• Able to embrace innovation and challenge the status quo
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years’ experience in IT management with a minimum of five years in managing multi-cultural teams in business and process analysis
• Degree or above from educational entity focusing on computer studies or related field
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
• Experience in Footwear and/or Apparel is preferred
• Possession of professional IT qualifications and/or Chartered IT Membership is advantageous
